How a 14-year-old
software studio became
an AI lab.
We started iTechNotion in 2011 as a high-performance software agency. For 12 years we shipped SaaS, mobile apps, IoT platforms, real-time video — the kind of complex products other teams couldn't deliver.
Then GPT-4 dropped. We watched our customers struggle to figure out what to do with it. Most agencies were rebranding to "AI". We decided to do the harder thing: actually rebuild our craft around it.
Today we're a small, opinionated group of engineers, designers and ML practitioners who treat every agent we ship like a hire: trained, measured, retained — or replaced.
We still ship software the old way too — when that's actually what you need.

Avkash Kakdiya founded iTechNotion in college, leading a team of over 70 to provide web, mobile, and IoT solutions for startups and corporates. With 13+ years of experience, he is dedicated to using technology to simplify lives. Avkash has collaborated with Fortune 500 companies and developed products for startups that secured funding and patents. Recognized as one of the Top 10 Inspiring CEOs by The Global Hues magazine in 2022, he holds a Master’s in Computer Applications and a Bachelor’s in Biotechnology. In his free time, Avkash enjoys cycling, bike riding, horse riding, and trekking.
Hiren Soni
Co-Founder & COO
Hiren Soni is the Co-Founder and COO of iTechNotion, where he oversees finance and operations. With over 15 years of experience as a software developer in Australia, he brings extensive technical expertise to his leadership role. Hiren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to music.
