Roles & responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining and reconciling the company's general ledger accounts. Post journal entries and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Process vendor invoices, track payments, and help manage accounts receivable. Collaborate with other departments to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure proper accounting of all transactions and identify any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses. Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Record and track company expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.
  • Assist in financial data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation for easy retrieval and reference.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations.
  • Undertake special projects and other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the senior accounting staff or management.
Skill And Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software i.e. Tally and Zoho Books and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Integrity and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of financial information.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance standards is a plus but not mandatory
